Previously you have seen some review pages about cameras, especially when comparing cameras, you must have experienced the Before – After effect. This is an effect that allows users to visually compare the two images to each other.
If you own a blog using WordPress and you want to have this effect right on your page then luckily, this article is for you. Today I will guide you to create Before – After effect for images in WordPress with the Twenty20 Image Before – After plugin.
This is a free plugin, which is distributed right in the WordPress plugin store, so I will not instruct you to install it anymore. Because it’s so simple right? Now we go into the tutorial always.
This plugin does not have a separate configuration, so every time you need to compare the image is set up in the editor toolbar of the article. Specifically, after successful activation of the plugin, you create new posts will see a new button as shown.
When you click on that button, you will get a frame to select a picture, choose an existing photo or upload a new one. You pick the two pictures to compare, then click Insert.
This is the configuration section.
Width: width. Default 100% of image width. You can edit (units is% or px)
Offset: There are values from 0.1 to 1.0. For 0.5, the frame moves in the center.
Direction: Compare horizontally or vertically.
Alignment: aligns the image (left or right is not.
After finalizing the parameters, the plugin will give you a shortcode, which you can insert into any position in the article to be displayed.
I’ve shown you how to create Before – After effect for images in WordPress, which is a great way for you to compare the quality of two images together. If there are any problems, please let me know in the comment section. Good luck.
