⟹ First, you need to install and activate the plugin WP Safe Updates.

⟹ Next, access the host through the File Manager of cPanel / DirectAdmin or via FTP. Find the path wp-content/plugins/wp-safe-updates, copy the file named db.php and paste into wp-content directory.

⟹ Finally, paste these lines to your wp-config.php.

⟹ Now, whenever a notification of updating plugins, instead click on update now, please click the test update button.

⟹ All the data to the new version of the plugin will be stored temporarily so you can check the compatibility level. Once finished, please click on the button Finish tests.
